Fall of 2007:

New Old Time Chautauqua
did shows on and about the San Juan Islands,
in that nebulous portion of Washington state
where once there was one of the world's Pig Wars.

  • Nanda, acrobaticalists, jugglers, funny guys & durned cute
  • Godfrey Daniels, larger-than-life cartoon
  • Christian Swenson, larger-than-life human, marvelously indescribable
  • Kevin Murphy, man of many words, all of them perfectly chosen
  • Frank Olivier, many of man, all of them funny
  • Joey Pipia, magician, humorician, nicest guy known to mankind
  • Jambalaya Band, the name says it all
  • all accompanied, of course, by the eternal and suspicious

There were some surprise guests as well. In point of fact, they were so surprising that not even we or they know who they are.

Note: Although we appeared only on March 25th, our friends at the Moisture Festival presented many other wonderful shows from March 15th thru April 1st. All of them were fantastic. Don't miss this Festival.

Directions from Kingston/Edmonds
From Kingston follow WA-104 , turn right to stay on 104 towards Port Gamble. Continue towards the Hood Canal Bridge and turn right onto the bridge continuing on WA-104. Turn right on WA-19/Beaver Valley Road towards Chimacum & Port Townsend for approximately 9.5 miles. Turn left on West Valley Road. You will see the school on your left.

Directions from Bainbridge Island
Take WA-305/WA-305 NE towards Poulsbo, merge onto WA-3 North towards the Hood Canal Bridge. Turn right onto WA-19/Beaver Valley Road towards Chimacum & Port Townsend for approximately 9.5 miles. Turn left on West Valley Road. You will see the school on your left.

Directions from Tacoma
Take the SR-16 W highway off of the 5. Cross over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. WA-16 W becomes WA-3 North and continue towards the Hood Canal Bridge. Turn right onto WA-19/Beaver Valley Road towards Chimacum & Port Townsend for approximately 9.5 miles. Turn left on West Valley Road. You will see the school on your left.

Directions from Sequim
1. Take US-101 East towards OLYMPIA.
2. Turn LEFT onto WA-20.
3. Turn RIGHT onto ANDERSON LAKE RD.
4. Turn RIGHT onto WA-19.
5. Turn RIGHT on West Valley Road.
6. Make the first LEFT into the parking lot and park towards the back of the lot.
